    Hi,

Can you clean the A8Js display with normal monitor wipes? I don't know much about it, but it's a "glare-type" display with Asus' "ColorShine" tech.

    Thanks,
    Kris

When I try wiping the LCD, the tissue or whatever just wipes the dust into a corner. Is there a way to get the dust completely off the LCD?

for the dust around the rims, I use my glasses cleaning cloth and my finger nail then gently go through the pattern.

It may be out of topic but I just want to ask if there is something such as screen protector for the laptop screen like those for cellphones, ipods, etc?

Don't use Fellowes screen wipes. I just tried using those, and they smear like you wouldn't believe on the screen.

Hope I didn't damage it. These wipes are theoretically safe.

Edit: Just switched to some lens cleaning tissues that have isopropyl in them. Much better. Figure if they're designed to clean eyeglasses without scratching them, they'll work on my LCD.
