    Configurable W1N?

    Does anyone know when it will be available for configuration? I like it a lot, but i don't need the 80 gig hdd, and i only want a 1.6ghz, and i only want 512 megs of ram. All of the adds say that it is available in 1.5ghz speeds and up, but i can't find those yet. All of asus' other notebooks are configurable, and available OEM, i'm wondering when this one will be.

    Assuming your from the states, the best place is to check the dealers section of the ASUS website.
    Many people have suggested www.proportable.com as a good dealer. and you can get a configured W1N

    do u know if starpcs also give the usb mouse and the case with the laptop......is it standard feature coz i know proportable does....star pcs look a better deal since u can get 1.7 dothan for the same price.....

    ALL of the W1N's are shipped into the USA in a kit that includes the mouse, headphones and some games in the really cool W1N box. Unless the reseller or builder changes that out when they get the unit from ASUS.

    The only thing I want to configure is the video, but that's the only thing I can't configure.

    Does anyone have a more precise estimation of when the Tv tuner models will ship, and how much more they'll be. That's kind of what I'm holding out for.

    The TV model is available here in Oz, so I suspect that the US shouldn't be to far off, but have you considered getting something like the ATI USB 2 TV wonder, which may actually be better than the tv tuner that comes with the W1N?
