I am a little confused about the different types of battery in Asus's estore.

Make my story short, my W3V battery finally died after 1.5 years, and I want to buy a new battery to replace it.

There are 3 types of battery listed in Asus's estore.

    1) W3V '-1C' Notebook Battery (Grey) 70-NCC1B1000
    2) W3V Notebook Battery (Silver) 70-NCB1B1001
    3) W3V Second Battery 90-NCB1B1000

Asus's website isn't very clear, but I look at my W3V battery and the number is 1) 70-NCC1B1000 (I don't have my laptop with me, but that's what I remember). So it seems like I need to get 1). I search the forum and found 3) should be the optical bay battery (correct me if I am wrong). So my question is, what is 2) ?

They all cost $100 by the way. What a great way to make money Asus !!! Build battery that died right out of warranty !!! J/K :p. I am just a little frustrated because my battery died so quickly. I still don't know what cause this, could be normal wears and tears, could be due to NPC...

Anyway, any help would be appreciated :)

the first two are identical except for the color, which will match some W3 units better than others, and yes, the third one is the modular battery.
