This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Connection problems.....

    I've been having problems with World of Warcraft. I tried to login but it says "unable to connect". I tried everything they told me to do, such as turning off my firewalls, restarting everything, etc. Anyone have this problem before?

    I'm assuming you are connected to the internet right? Most likely but I'm just double checking :p

    Go to your WoW folder, right click realmlist.wtf and go to edit. Check if the server is correct, as it should be:

    set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

    That's really weird. What type of connection are you using? A Router? Wireless?

    I'd test out another connection.
