Hey guys. This isn't a thread to advertise my laptop, but more of a epiphany (if I can call it that).

As the thread says, I'm think about selling my Asus C90 (the Velocity Micro X25, to be exact). I bought it back in late August, and after picking up a 2GB stick of RAM, I've just gotten so tired of the incompatible memory problem that has plagued it. I utterly despise the fact that I have to turn off the computer just to move it into the living room 10 feet away, and I always have to worry about the cable popping out, thus freezing the computer entirely. Couple that with the fact that I chat online and use applications a lot more than I game these days as a college student, and I don't know if I need a computer like this. I'm considering picking up a laptop with an actual battery life (a much longer one at that). Perhaps I'll grab a Dell that I know will actually handle 3GB of memory without locking up.

It doesn't look like ASUS is fixing any of the problems with the C90 anytime soon. I'm simply tired of dealing with it and the fact that my laptop produces so much heat and uses so much electricity even when I only have a single window open (the loud fans don't help either at night). What do you guys think?

While I don't plan on selling mine, I definitely feel your pain. To put it plain and simply, I'd like to know why the hell Asus is taking so long to release a BIOS fix for most of these problems?

So far my C90 is effected by the WiFi problem and not going into gaming mode with my E6700. Two things that really piss me off.

Yeah. My laptop will never overclock, and you'd think ram as popular as Corsair would get some love at the get-go, especially when they hold its own chunk of market share. It's just frustrating.

I sent them an email a few days ago, and I'm still awaiting an answer. I'll let you know what they say.
