What can I do? Every 20-30secs getting disconnected by my wifi. Should, and if so how do I go about reinstalling the drivers? should i do software only? drivers first then software?

    THanks

Need more information to give you any answer. What is the signal strenght you are getting? Is it your hotspot or someone else? etc... How far are you from the access point... blah blah blah.

I updated the sofware from intel site and still doing it. Windows pops up asking, "wireless networks found, do you want to connect"

Uhh...I thought I have it set so it auto connects everytime without it asking me. WTF?

Anywhere from 36.0mbps to 54mbps. But most of the time 36 or 48.

I go into the wireless menu and my neighbours shows up but i excluded him from my list. I dont know why it still shows up at times. His his security enabled anyways, mine is not (because my router sucks).

Im about 20 ft from the A.P. Nothing blocking, same room, same height as laptop.

i swear its got to be my **** neighbours router because everytime the thing pops up "wireless networks found" i click on it, and the only one that shows is his. then i hit refresh and mines shows too and it connects to mine. I excluded his so how the **** is it still picking up? Cause to me, its disconnecting me off my line because its picking up his. argh

Try using the microsoft client yet? I presume you are using proset now. You can also try a different channel. Also i assume you tried with other ap's and no problems there?

Im using MS client now and its done it once but only in about an hour. Yes the intel is proset, is this known as a buggy software? I tried different ch. on the proset.

I just need to narrow it down to what it is.

ok its starting to pick up now using MS client. It doesnt ask me like the Proset does to click here to connect, it automatically does it.

It will just pop up "you are now connected" blahblah blah.
