    How is iGo for an adapter?

    Are there any speaker brand to avoid or look for?

    What should I look for when lookin for a USB hub?

    I always like helping people out here. But those are just a bunch of random question. You should do some research on your own. use google. look up laptop speaker reviews. and port replicaters is not really more more usb ports. you would want a USB hub for that. if you need a charger buy an oem one also yes the cover can dent if you bang it.

    hahahah alright, i couldnt find any decent review sites for speakers. errr yeah usb hub is what i meant, maybe ill change that. okay lemme revise my questions...

    The *lid* is aluminum and it's brushed and anodized which honestly gives it more rigidity... Since I have extra full chasis' for these units, I've beat the hell out of my W3v and still haven't dented it. Another personal case involves my brother's W1 which has the same type of lid. That's more than twice as old and beat just about the same way and no denting. The W3's lid isn't as thick as the W1 or W2 (which is close to 1/8"), but it's at least 1/16" if not more.... It's durable.... scratches are also easily hidden if you can even scratch the anodized surface to begin with (The anodizing on a laptop lid has no need to be the toughest in the world, but anodizing itself is the second hardest material to a diamond)....

    Lastly - how is having 3 USB ports lacking? I mean I know some biggest Asus units have 4 and 5, but on a laptop, if you have more than one USB device to plug in, why wouldn't you use one of those usb hubs? That way you can plug half a dozen devices in and leave them... and then just plug one in when you get home. With bluetooth being as widely used as it is now, even a bluetooth mouse and keyboard help eliminate the most common use of USB on a notebook.

    was trying to cover all bases just in case. thats a good point about the bluetooth mouse and keyboard, ill look into that. i revised the questions.

    i was worried because i have an iriver h10 device, and it is aluminum, and its dented in two places. but this eases my worrying.

    I think I'm going to purchase a W3J soon but I also wonder that does W3J also come with free mouse and bag? I know that Taiwan W3Js come with all sorts of free stuff but I'm not sure places like ProPortable or other Asus resellers in the US have free mouse/bag for W3J.

    North American's version does not.

    Only the worldwide version, sans N.America has the free bag and BT mouse(varies).
