This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hey guys just a quick couple of questions about my new netbook (which im enjoying a plenty thus far) that google searches yielded inconclusive results

    1. Its only a day old and the hdd makes the slightest clicking sound about every 30 seconds (I hate WD lol), I ran chkdsk and everything seems good, so is this something i should worry about?

    2. Ill be upgrading the poor thing to Win7 HP soon and wanted to know how exactly to enable Optimus? (google yielded that just by upgrading it should become enabled but i also read others had to do a few special things whether it be this netbook, the 1215N or some other netbook with optimus)

    Anybody? Even those with the 1215N or a similar netbook could chime in, id appreciate it :)
