Greetings - I received my F3T this past Wedsnesday and have been working hard to get XP installed on a replacement hdd. Gave up the first time because of bad drivers from ASUS' site. Finally found a hint on ExpertsExchange to go to the Nvidia site and downloaded the C51M chipset driver from them. It worked like a charm - I have audio and ethernet now - which I didn't have on the first install. Still haven't gotten the webcam installed - any help or guidance would be appreciated. Next stop is to get Vista back on it in a dual-boot. Any F3T owners out there running XP?? Edited to Add: Do not install an "ATK" update from Windows Update - it just broke my XP install (no backlight) forcing me to re-install XP...

No - not a dumb question - I shouldn't have used "cracked" on this forum since cracking something has a hacker-related meaning. I should have said something like "discovered a workaround" to loading XP on an F3T. It turned out to be the most difficult OS load I have ever done - but it runs very nicely now and I will use Ghost 8 to image a copy today.
