For a month now, everytime I left my G50VT X5 Charging, my led display has been showing values over 100 for the battery life display, it first starte with 102, and it has gotten to 110%. Should I be worried??

Happens sometimes here, I wouldn't be worried, no. It's not like the battery is actually charging 110%, its just a flaw the in software of the LED or an issue that could have been caused by some software you are running..

Perhaps you should try totally draining your battery to zero, and then totally charging it back up again to recalibrate your battery? Or do you no longer have to do that with modern batteries?

I was thinking that too - I wouldn't drain it down to 0 though, but take it from full to nearly empty (say 3% or so) a couple of times to recondition it and see if the display becomes more accurate after that is my suggestion.

In theory you don't, but I don't know what kind of firmware the G50 uses for its LED display. Windows can read the information right from the "smart battery," but other software just keeps an internal log of the capacity.
