hi all,
its my second weeks with this new baby and I love everything about her except the fact that is a fluke in either Asus' add-on software or i might of accidentally deleted something that may required that i do a clean slay which i'm trying to avoid.
The issue:
Has anyone experienced that while typing, in a middle of the sentence the cursor jump on you to a different location, primarily backward. Sometime, it behaviors strangely from randomly highlighting everything or even deleting a paragraph if you type too fast. This is very annoying while composing a email or writing this right now. I have tried everything. From reinstalling the keyboard driver, to shutting off the touchpad. If can't find a solution, I will reformat and proof its a hardware issue. Please let me know before while prepare for that route.

Are you sure you're not brushing up against the touch pad?

It does sound like you are brushing the touch pad a bit. It happens to me all the time xD and yeah it sucks.

Try increasing the palm-checking sensitivity on your touchpad properties. Another option that works for some is installing a small piece of software called "touchfreeze". Find it here: http://code.google.com/p/touchfreeze/downloads/list

It maybe the case but I have tested with it off and using a external mouse even re-installed the driver and multi-fingers <-junk.
The flex is very annoying. Thanks Lotsabs...i'll try the program and see if it work for my case and if it doesn't work I'll test it again with a external keyboard.
I also posted a response on in the Model Owner's thread.

disable your touch pad and use an external mouse. the touch pad is very sensitive and even if you don't touch it it still senses movement. Their is a mouse button on the top of the laptop by the power button (at least on my g60jx) you can also set the touch pad setting to be disable touch pad when external mouse is plugged in.
