In your experience, how has the customer support been for your Asus models? I'm looking into getting a G1 with Santa Rosa, but I've been a little discouraged by rumblings of bad driver choices and poor customer support on Asus's.

The customer support for Asus North America is excellent, many here have dealt with them both in Canada and the States.
As for drivers stick with what works, don't worry to much about updating unless the update fixes a problem. The general rule of thumb is don't fix what isn't broken.
If you live in another country, then i'm sure others who have had experiences in their country could give you their experiences. -
I have a G1 kiwi, can't speak on support as I have had no problems need require fixing.
Drivers? I would say they are good. Hated Vista all together and reformatted onto XP Pro. Downloaded the XP drivers of ASUS's site and have been rock solid ever since. -
Is the asus customer support american? If so, that is a plus for me!
