    Hi,

I have a problem with my Wifi INTEL 4965AGN from my Asus G1S and my access point : D-link DIR 635.

I have a bluescreen "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL", when I make the debug, I see "probably caused by NETw4v32.sys" NETw4v32.sys is a file from the 4965AGN driver.

I think that there are compatibility problems beteween my access point and my wifi card.

    Any suggestion?

    thanks.

If it can help..I got the DiR655, and I had to put in in G compatibility -mode(insteed of N) to make it work with my g1s. At least it work for now, but I expect driver upgrade from intel

    Hi,

I think I have the same problem :
    - D-link router DIR 635
    - Asus F3SV with Intel 4965AGN wifi-card
    - when surfing the internet, I get an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in netw4v32.sys within a few minutes (0X0A, 0X064, 0X02, 0X01, 0X81FA4DAE).

The version of the wifi-drivers is 11.1.0.86, which is the current version on the Asus-website.

I disabled the Windows Firewall and wireless encryption (WPA2), but this didn't help.
Then I put the router into G-mode, and after that I didn't get the BSOD anymore.

As I don't really need the N-mode, I'll probably won't take any further steps.

This information does not really help you a lot if you need the N-mode, but at least you know you're not the only one with this problem.

    Good luck,
    Marc

    ok thank you.

I updated my drivers to 11.1.1.11 on the Intel's website, but I have always the same problem.

how often do you get this BSOD?

    thank you.

After I switched the router into G-mode, I didn't get any BSOD's. But I didn't use the notebook a lot over the last few days (between 2 and 3 hours) so it's maybe too early to be 100% sure that the problem does not occur in G-mode.

When working in N-mode, I got 5 or 6 BSOD's. All occurred after surfing less than 5 minutes.
This happened when I was testing my F3SV and Dir635-router. At that time the notebook was located within 1 meter from the router. It's probably only coincidence, but I got most of the BSOD's when accessing www.destandaard.be (a belgian newspaper site), while other sites were ok.

Before buying the D-link router, I visited a few shops and I was told everywhere that compatibility between network adapters and routers from different brands is a big issue when trying to use N-mode, as there is no standard yet. But G-mode should work ok.
So I was not really surprised to find out that I ran into trouble when using N-mode with my F3SV and Dir635...

Ok, In fact, I get a bsod about one time per week, but I'm far from the dir635 (on the second floor). I sent my laptop for an exchange, but the problem still occured with the new one.

I already tried to question D-link and Asus about this problem, but they can't help.

Tomorrow, I'm going to see if I get more BSOD when I'm near the dir635.

    thanks

    Ok, I have the same.

I don't get more BSOD when I'm near the dir635, it's strange that you get a bsod within 5minuts.

In 2 weeks, I had one BSOD, but it is the same error than yours (IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL, and debug say : probably caused by netw4v32.sys)

I think that whe have the same prob, I hope that intel is going to release a new version of the drivers.
