I somehow seem to have lost my ability to play DVDs and can't find the player software. It's not on the Driver & Utility Software disc and the Recovery CD. Can anyone point me in the right direction?![]()
I assume ASUS uses WinDVD or something like that right?![]()

Well, you only need the codecs to play the DVD anyways. You can get the K-Lite Codec Pack, and use Media Player Classic to play the DVDs. =P

It's in with the 3-pack of software.. It's called AsusDVD - which is a licensed copy of Cyberlink PowerDVD... You can't miss it, it's a bright yellow cd.
-
Justin, thanks heaps! The reason I couldn't see a bright-yellow CD is because it was buried behind PowerDirector and MediaShow in the bundle envelope.
Hehe. -
Uh, oh, it's asking for Key number. The CD cover is blank, where would the serial number be, but, more importantly, why does it need one?

You know what... I always hated it through school, where it's taken as disrespect that someone doesn't take the time to learn your name....... on the forum or in email, where my name is writen out in front people, it's almost hard to explain that when it's right there... whatever.
You're welcome. -

It's on the disc - pop it out, type it in, then pop it back in and hit enter.
-
DOH! Thanks, I got it working!
