    Hi all,

I own an Asus N55SF that i bought back in 2011.

It still works amazingly well, especially because I replaced the DVD reader with an SSD on which I've put the OS.

I really like my laptop because of its amazing sound, its speakers being custom made by Bang & Olufsen.
Also the sound comes from the top, just over the keyboard there is a huge tray from which the sound comes out. Bang & Olufsen really made a beautiful job.

Today, my only "issue" actually is that the laptop is quite heavy and bulky, compared to what is being made nowadays, and i would like something lighter that i can carry around more easily.

So i was looking at the Asus laptops being sold nowadays and I didn't see any with speakers by Bang & Olufsen.

Could you please give me any advice with that ?
I've encountered so many laptops of friends with such ****ty sound that I'm really scared to let go of my lovely old laptop because of that.

It seems Bang & Olufsen have moved their collaboration to other brands ?

    So :
    1. Is there any Asus laptop that is the proud descendant of the N55SF with amazing sound ? (i don't need any gamer laptop of such things, with amazing image. Just amazing sound :).

    2. If not, what would be the corresponding laptop nowadays in other brands ?

    Cheers mates,

    Adrien

Fancy names don't really mean anything as B&O has put their label on several HP laptops that sound like garbage. If you want the best laptop speakers, the MacBook Pro 16 wins hands down.

Thank you. Hmm..my opinion may be biased, because honestly, my laptop with its B&O, is really really great.

Unfortunately I'm not a Mac person.

    Any other advice ?
