What is the difference between the n56vm and n56dp?
-
The VM uses Intel CPU and nVidia GPU, while the DP uses ATI CPU and GPU,
-
So that's the only difference?
-
At least from what I've been able to gather from looking at them in stores, and going by their spec sheets at ASUS site.

That's basically it. The support for an i7 on the VM makes for a better CPU choice, although the 7730m on the DP is a better GPU than the 630m on the VM. -
Thank you very much.

Any time! And if you bite the bullet on either, feel free to express some feedback for other users.

Well for gaming the stronger graphics is more important than an i7 anyway
