Differences between different A8J models and A8F according to official Asus Global site http://www.asus.com

Three different A8J models A8Ja, A8Jc and A8Jm. They have A8J models have different graphic cards, otherwise they are same.

    A8Ja
    Video Graphics & Memory: Memory ATI Mobility™ Radeon™ X1600 512MB with HyperMemory

    A8Jc
Video Graphics & Memory: NVidia GeForce Go7300 128MB with TurboCache

    A8Jm
Video Graphics & Memory: NVidia GeForce Go7600 512MB

How A8F differentiate from A8J models?

    A8F

Video Graphics & Memory: Embedded Intel 945GM

and it doesn't have DVI Output

otherwise it looks like A8j model, example it has like A8J models ExpressCard Slot.

A8Jc is enough powerful for me I think (it has DVI out and ExpressCard Slot, those I want and it's Asus and it's smaller than A7Ja), but not yet info which A8J model they will sell here in Finland

I suppose A8Ja is more powerful than A8Jc because ATI Mobility™ Radeon™ X1600 has more memory than NVidia GeForce Go7300

Ehm, the GMA950 is a graphic card ;)

The Mobility X1600 is much better than the Geforce Go7300-7600 series, so it should be no contest there.

Yes GMA950 can be defined as graphic card, but it's integrated to motherboard (mainboard) it's not separate card like in A8J models like some desktop PCs have integrated graphics, am I right?

I dont know much about notebooks because I do not own notebook.

I have own builded desktop PC, but I'm thinking to buy A8Jc, if they are going to sell it in Finland.

You're incorrect... these systems don't have totally seperate graphics cards...... mainly because they would require a thicker chassis.

actually the A8JM has an MXM 7600, which can be thought of as "seperate"

What I meant to say is that this unit is not set up the same way the Z71v is or how "upgradable video" is seen to be....... they are daughterboards, but not totally seperate in the way that mxm is really supposed to be by now... which is basically to have the option upon build as to which graphics card you want.......

i worry that someone else has asked you this already, but is it the a8jm (built-on?) that will be available in the states? i had just assumed that this was the only one b/c others have been talking about it, but will other models be available in the states?

I think the 7600go in the A8JM has been tested in Asia and it performed better than the X1600.
