I was wondering what the FSB speeds are in Turbo and Extreme Turbo. Im getting the G50VT-X5 which has the P7450 which has a 1066mhz FSB. Just wanted the numbers so i can do the math while im waiting.

I just got so bored i overclocked my pentium 2 lol.

    FSB is (was) 266, 280 and 294 in DirectConsole. I own the g50v-ak043k, P8600 (2.4Ghz).
Funny thing is the cpu multiplier : 6 on battery, and throttling very fast between 9 and 9.5 in normal modes (normal, turbo, turbo extreme).
I have this thing just confirmed today on the french G50 board, it happens in Vista and XP, with or without DirectConsole, with or without overclock, with or without Power4Gear, and on every G50... This thing is really strange.

Yeah we were talking about that in another thread im not that familair with laptops but must be part of the speedstep or Centrino 2 platform design or something?

I had an AMD before hand and it only did it when i told it to.

I wonder if there's a config file or registry setting that could be altered; try to get the FSB up to 333? Not that there's anything wrong with 294...

Just use Set FSB instead, board should support a quad rate of 1333mhz which would be uh lets see..... yup 333. I got my first answer in a pm from a guy who took his up pretty far.
