    Direct Console Problem

    Every startup i received this error message from Direct Console "Cannot create shell notification icon"

    I uninstall and reinstall DC but still i got that error message.

    any advise?

    hi i seem to have the same issue wih my g2s i do recall seeing my evil eye on the touchpad work once but then it stopped so now the indicators on the side of the lcd and the little lcd in the left corner which have never worked are out. please help if anyone has any ideas. PS. I did also try reinstaling the direct console utillity but same problem each time :(

    What does that console do? If it's not essential I'd advise giving it up. Just another buggy ASUS utility.

    E.B.E. - Direct Console is an Asus Utility that allows you to turn on/off the Asus Direct Flash (the one that's blinking on the sides of the LCD when you're using DX10) and allows you to turn on/off the Asus Direct Messenger (the small screen display for notification above the keyboard). It also allows you to customize the message that's going to appear in the Direct Messenger.


    try uninstalling the Asus Direct Console and get the latest version at the Asus Support site and install the latest version.. i hope that works for you guys..

    I have tried installing and uninstalling direct console 0.9 and 1.4 each time i get the msg: Direct console not exists
