    Direct Console and Express Gate Key

    For some reason the Direct Console key won't launch Direct Console and the Express Gate key won't launch Windows Media Center.

    They worked before I updated the Bios to 207. Direct Console will launch via the exe and the Express Gate key works when the laptop is off.

    Very strange. Anyone have this problem?

    Express gate can only work when the laptop is off I thought? Because when its off you press it to power on and boot into EG.

    When windows is running it cant load EG because thats another OS...

    As for the Driect Console, I would just reload the ATK drivers (all of them) and Direct Console. Go to asus and make sure you download the latest ones also.

    I have the G50V and when I use to hit the Express Gate button it launched Media Center.

    I'll try the drivers.

    Oh, I forgot about that. I remember hearing people say media center would start. Sorry about that.

    But year try the drivers and updated console 2 if not running it already.

    I am in raid 0 so cant use the express gate stuff anyway, lol
