    Hi,

Is there a way to disable/customize the status indicator lights on the Asus M50?

I'm getting sick of the bright lights that indicate power, wireless and even the flashing Storage access led and want to disable some if not all of them. Specifically when using the laptop in low light conditions.

    Thanks,

These kinds of functions are typically hard-coded into the BIOS, and cannot be changed unless you are willing to risk permanently crippling your computer. Try covering the lights with a piece of tape.

    yea,

My usual trick is to use elec tape, but I'm hoping (wishful thinking) someone will have an alternative solution for this.
