    Hi guys,

I'm about to run some benchmarks using MobileMark2005 on ASUS Z33A (M5A) and I need to disable to display dim.
I noticed that in the BIOS under 'Power' there's an option called 'LCD Power Saving'. When disabled it is not supposed to dim the display while using the battery as a power source. I disabled it but it still seems to me that I disconnect the NB from the AC power the display will dim a bit.

Is it just me? or the disaply will still dim a bit when disconnected from the AC power?

You have to disable power4gear as well and select always on as your theme

Ha. I forgot to mention. It's a fresh Windows XP Pro OS installed with only important drivers, so no Power4Gear or any other un-necessary program.

So, I guess I'm ok then?

Yeah, It seems the display still gets a bit dimmer. Though I think that it's less dimmer when the 'LCD Power Saving' is disabled. It's hard to distinguish with a naked eye IMO, atleast for me.
