Hey, I got my S96J from powernotebooks and I think it's quite amazing. Anyway, I'm not going to sit here and talk about what I love about it, but one thing that is bothering me is that I want to disable the touchpad when using a mouse plugged into a usb slot. It looks like the disable touchpad button is the button to the left of the power button on the top right, but when I hit the button, nothing happens.

Does anyone have any idea what this problem is, or another way to disable the touchpad?

You may probrably need to install the HControl and ATK0110(or something like that, ATKxxxxx, where x=0 or 1) drivers for the buttons.

You have to update the ATK100 drivers to allow the usage of hotkeys and the buttons(Fn keys wont work). You can get the drivers on the Intel website.

I have the ATK ACPI installed BUT the botton thats supposed to disable the touchpad doesnt work. This is because its tied in with the Synaptic drivers which i see no reason to have, so you need both for the button to work.

I downloaded the Touchpad driver from the Intel website and that fixed the problem. Thanks for the help.
