I wanted to buy a really nice Desktop Replacement Notebook. Best of screen space is in my opinion the Asus GL702VM, there is not so much space around the screen. But there is no GL Model with an 17inch Display and a GTX 1070 or?

On the other hand I like the Asus ROG G752VS but the screen seems smaller? there is so much space under the screen with the ASUS LOGO. Or is the screen big as the screen GL702VM? It looks for me a bit smaller...

Please give me some advice or comparison.

Wanted to buy first a MSI GT72 Laptop but since I heard that some of them have screen banding/dithering problem it is a no go for me....

they both have the same screen size.

the g752 has a different hinge setup for heat exhaust purposes, that's why there's so much lower bezel space. The GL702 screen lid pivots to sit behind the exhaust vents, which makes the lower bezel appear smaller, but also results in poorer heat exhaustion
