I got my asus g1s few months ago.
It seemed that this problem appeared after windows updater installed this update: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947172
After that I kept getting "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered." when I play games or watching a movie. Screen would go mostly pink and then goes black and the game crashes. Somethings I would get a blue screen. I've tried installing different drivers, but I am still getting the same problem. Someone please help!!

Or under Windows Update you can remove that update.

    thanks for the quick response
    but the problem still exists
Im not sure if it's the other updates or not, but can an update cause this problem? I never had this problem before.
