    Do I Own F7sr Or X70s ??????

    Hi,

    Hope someone can help,
    I bought my asus second hand,

    It has a model number X70S on the back as a sticker.
    But windows recognises it as an F7sr version.
    :confused:
    what do you think?

    Welcome to the forum! I'm going to make you feel better, I think.

    No reason to spend time searching for specs or slogging through PCPitstop (which isn't much good, anyway). Asus markets slightly different versions of their base models under the X## monikers. Usually they are specific submodels that are made for only a particular retailer (i.e. BestBuy has several of these) or global region.

    In your case, you have the F7sr, which was marketed and sold under the X70 model name. If you go looking for info on your new notebook, just search for F7sr as you aren't likely to find much on the X70.
