Normally (XP) in power settings when i set "Do Nothing" on notebook cover part it wasnt any problem. I open the cover and continue to work without waiting. On windows 7 when i do the same things it does the same thing on suspend/hibernate. it freezes long time. is there any patch or download for this problem?

Go to Power Option --> Change plan settings --> Change advanced Power Settings. You can define Lid Close action to Do Nothing from there.
