    Hi

I want to give my Asus m5n a good clean and reinstall windows.
But, ive seemed to have misplaced all my discs that came with the laptop (i still have the windows key on the notebook and some windows install discs)

Will i be able to get everything back to normal (hot keys, card reader, wireless, touchpad, mic., speakers etc) without the need for these discs, by downloading it off of the Asus website? thanks :)

Yes you will be able to get it working.

But an easier method might be to recover from the HDD, if you still have the recovery partition. Check my Tips and Tricks (signature) under ASUS Restore to Factory Defaults.

by perfect condition i mean that.........the basic drivers that windows xp installs for your chipset, wireless, GPU etc will not be the best suited ones for them. sonormally all functions of these devices wont be available to you. for that you will either need the driver CD that came with your PC or the latest drivers from the manufacturers website.....
