    Hi all,

I am a designer, and want a notebook for general working for design and web development job.

Do the G1S Screen at least 180 nits or who know how well it is compare with other brand like Fujitsu, HP, Benq, Acer, Dell etc?

    Thank you

You'd be hard pressed to find a LCD monitor under 200 nits. Most are at least 300.

That's not the true at all.

Here is what Dell (will) offer for the XPS M1530:

and most screens are like that.... The MBP has a 300 nits LED backlit screen though.

I will try to check out the G1s later, if I feel like doing that.... :p

Well, there are 150 and 180 nits matte screens, which aren't difficult to find at all... :D

The G1s screen is over 180 nits because God said so.

Find fault with that you fun-ruiner.

I wouldn't consider doing much graphical work on the G1S screen. While it does look decent for normal usage, anything photo-based seems to wash out unattractively.

    Who is your God?

At a wild guess, I would say 200 nits but I'm not sure... :p
