    Nope, my F8Va came with 24 Months global warranty and I think that is enough for a laptop... I am planning to sell it to someone before the warranty expires (if I have enough money at that time, of course).

    nope.
    I have never owned a laptop for over 3 yrs anyway :(
    But my new studio xps 1340 came with a 1 yr warranty and before the year is up i will probably call dell and extend it :rolleyes: if I still love it like i do know, which I hope I will.

    If my laptop is going to last a year, then it'll probably make it to 3 years. Why spend an extra $300 when I could just put it towards my next one.

    My credit card company automatically extends my warranty, so there's no need to purchase one ;)
