    as far as I know, yes. Warranty would be void. At least in my country.

    i would like to buy a new laptop and i'm reading a lot of reviews and tests. i7-7700hq+gtx1060 is really hot on gl502vm/gl702vm and thermal throttling could be a problem and repaste would become a solution in that case. :)

    the problem with those cheaper laptops is that the heatsink is too small

    even a repaste won't help if the heatsink is too small

    Repaste + Undervolt from HiDevolution fixes the GL502VM from what I know - should drop temps from 93*C to 83*C or so.
