    hey everyone.

Like the title says, im looking for a docking station for the c90s which i will be purchasing shortly.

things i will look for in the docking station itself, various USB ports (to connect mouse, keyboard, ipod, TV tuner and other stuff i may not come up with yet), a port to connect this monitor running at max resolution (1680 x 1050):

and audio options. Ethernet could be considered if i choose to not go wireless.

Thanks for your time and patience.

There is no real docking station for the C90. You can get a USB docking station or an express card docking station with a build in vga card. The build in graphics cards of docking stations are pretty bad so i would connect the monitor directly to the laptop and not through a dock.

The C90 is a freaking docking station. Have you seen those battery times?

But seriously your best option would be to get a usb hub and that'll solve the majority of issues. You'd only have to pull one usb cord out when your on the go.

well, i wanted to get it for commodity when i get home, ONLY to unplug 1 thing, instead of a ton of things. Im getting a TV tuner, usb mouse/keyboard, USB headphones, and a extra monitor.

I would consider getting a regular USB hub, if i wasn't worried about the wear and tear of connecting and disconnecting the monitor plug to once and again on the laptop.

I dunno if im being paranoid about this.

oh.... i see. didn't know that. um... well, what about the monitor plug, and the laptop plug, will it break or be rendered useless due to wear and tear from daily plugging and unplugging?

or do you think im just overreacting on this. Because i would be happy with a 5-7 usb hub plus a ethernet connection. It would also be alot better for my intended linux use, rather than getting the docking station to work on linux.

feedback and comments appreciated guys :D

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good cooling pad (besides putting it on a house fan like V ;))?

    OVERCLOCKING CRASH NEWS!!!

I sent my c90s back to excaliperpc.com on the 20th and got my replacement today (the 27th). One week turnaround is excellent you think! Anyway I am now able to run everything in overclocking mode with no crashes. This is using the same settings, hardware, drivers, thermal grease and methods as before. SO, for those of you that get crashes and lockups, RMA! Stop listening to claims about "memory incompatibility" cause your just wasting time. The bottom line is, that its overheating and the fans arent working right just like ive been saying ALL along!
