    I read somewhere that Asus are the ones responsible for the MacBooks incredable build. Is it true or just rumor?

    They also have a HP contract, if you check out the Compaq B8200(I think), it's actually the ASUS M9v(exact same build!), both have reviews on this site heh.

    yeap it's true! Apple awarded them the contract to build the 13" macbook! keep in mind just the 13". The past macbooks and Macbook pro is from Quanta.
