    Does Asus give Educational Discount?

    I know some vendors like dell and ibm give education discounts to college students. I was just wondering if asus has any program like this. Thanks, Rob

    ASUS doesn't sell units themselves. They are the manufacturer/distributor [or something close to that nature], who sells it to resellers like ProPortable, StarTech, etc. and they sell the actual units to consumers like us. So it all depends on the resellers.

    You're asking something like if Intel gives discounts on their CPUs when they don't sell it themselves.

    It will not give you a link to to selelrs who offer educational discounts. It links to you all their preffered sellers. A few offer educational discounts but you have to search through all to find the best price. The edu discount just offsets the higher price you will be paying in the first place.
