Sooo yeah, does Asus sell anything with both a GPU more powerful than the Geforce 9650GT that also has an LED backlit screen?

They've got all these models out with Geforce 9800GS (I assume 64 processor parts) for around the same price as the N80, but I THINK they all have florescent lighting :-/

According to Asus, there will be two different versions of the Asus N81 models offered with different video cards.

    The N81Vf

    - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 with DDR3 1G VRAM

    The N81Vg

    - NVidia GeForce GT 120M with DDR2 1G VRAM

Eww GT 120M w/ DDR2, seriously underpowered. The 4650 w/ GDDR3 on the other hand should decimate pretty much every other current offering (besides the 9800M GS).

Will this 4650 with GDDR3 memory fit the 25w specification mxm2 demands by any chance?

Awesome, thanks! I guess that Geforce GT 120 is just yet another Geforce 8600GT varient though, so maybe it's not really worth waiting for (unless it was coming next week or something).

I played around with the two x83 Best Buy models tonight, and really thought they're pretty solid little computers, so... hopefully I'll be alright!
