A quick question. I have searched the forum and googled but I couldn't find anything about this (maybe I was too sloppy)... Can I use the secondary battery for W3v in my W3j? Does it fit?

    Cheers,
    Patrik

Just an opinion, check the standard battery on both laptops if they are the same, then it should be possible. As long as I know both have the same case

The main 8 cell battery (I tried the 90-NCC1B1000) from the W3V does NOT fit on the W3J. There is little difference in the holding positions, sadly. But I think that the 6 cell battery (the bay-battery) will fit on both models.

I can tell you that the V1 secondary battery does not fit in a W3A/Z63A. :( Damned inconvenient...

Found this thread and it confirms that the W3v and the W3j modular battery are exactly the same. Thank you for all the answers. :)
