    I know both don't have the 2nd HDD bracket, but it is purchasable through Asus estore.

    So if one is bought, and added to X1 or X2, will it work instantly, or will it work at all?

    The screen on the X2 is higher res than the X1. I recommend the X2 if you're trying to decide between the two.

    The pictures don't represent the true color of the laptop. It is not as orange in real life. It's darker than that and quite acceptable. No regrets here, only "wow!" comments from passers-by and friends.
