I'm thinking about buying the G51vx-rfrx05 from frys.com. It's $1149.99. At best buy the G51vx-rx05 is $999.99. After tax, the best buy is only like $60 cheaper and comes with BB's crap warranty.

So if i bought the one from frys.com, do you guys know if it qualifies for Asus's 1 year accidental and 2 year parts/labor warranty?

Also, i've been scanning the forums and it looks like a new G51j is coming soon. I can't afford anything over $1200 so i think that waiting for that is out of the picture. Please correct me if I'm wrong there.

Is there anywhere else besides frys.com and BB to get this laptop?

Anyway, my first post. This forum is amazing. So glad i found it. Thanks.

I'm guessing the rf in the name stands for refurbished, if so no, it does not qualify for the 1 year accidental or 2 year parts/labor. 1200$ is a bit low for the estimated price of the G51j
