Haha, right, I didn't notice. Thanks for posting them.

It certainly is a very nice nxtxbook. Almost perfect in a way, it has just the right features and everything (not sure if a 1280x768 resolution would've been better or not, it would make the gfx card's job harder... unless the CPU is too much of a bottleneck, so that higher resolution doesn't matter much for GPU). I would absolutely love to get one, cuz it'd be perfect for playing older games and such and yet it's still very small and light (and quite cheap, compared to small/ultraportable *notebooks* that don't even have a dedicated gfx card).

It's always been my dream to get an ultraportable with a dedicated gfx card...

Of course, if one was to do some wishful thinking, a slightly faster CPU would've been great in there (to strike a perfect balance between CPU/GPU), if the GPU is in fact severely bottlenecked like you're speculating (it's very likely to be true, though). But it's a never-ending cycle, once you have a faster CPU, you want a faster GPU and vice versa. We should be happy there is finally one netbook on the market with a dedicated GPU. I almost want to buy it just to support ASUS in their effort on this.

But, unfortunately, I'm not in a position where I absolutely need to get it, so it's more of a want/convenience/fun thing, cuz it'd be mostly a toy for me (to mess around with older 3D games and stuff) and a replacement for my current old, heavy and slow 12" laptop (but still more or less functional). =( So I'll probably have to pass on it, as to not spend too much money when I can live without it.

Kinda the same deal as with PS3. x.x

Does anyone know the clock generator name for the N10J-A2?

I don't even know where I would find it.

or, more to the point: has anyone succeeded in overclocking this atom cpu?

    bump.

I think it's possible to determine the clock-generator name from a good image of the N10 motherboard, so it could be useful for overclocking also.
