I have finally figured out how to open the W7J so I would like to replace the existing Intel card with an Atheros 5008 N card. Does anyone have a source for them? I am looking for a Mini-Express Card and will probably need the third internal wire for the antenna.

    Anyhelp is good. Thanks!

Good luck installing a third wire if it isn't already there.

The N cards work fine with just two, many people have upgraded to N with just two wires.

BTW you could try to find a MacBook or MacBook Pro that's up for spare parts on eBay, they have the Atheros N card (mine does at least).

I see there is enough room to get a third wire in and route it around the keyboard. The problem is locating the CARD and with some luck, a suitable wire.

I thought the macbook and macbook pro N cards weren't standard mini-pcie cards.

    I honestly don't know, it's entirely possible they're not.
