    Does anyone know the application to tweak power button settings?

    I cant find it in my taskbar. Everytime i close the lid, it goes to standby.. I want it to be doing nothing.

    Do you have vista or xp?
    in vista: Control panel -> Power Management -> on the left side should be something like: "choose what should happed when i close the lid".

    i don't remember where it is in xp. but should be 100% in Control panel -> Power Managemen

    if it's xp: c panel -> power options -> advanced -> "When I press/close X, do Y"

    Ok thanks guys. Asus seems to have some sort of software for it but its sort of gone=/

    It's called Power4Gear and you can download the latest version from the Asus support site.

    That is correct. It shouldnt matter what laptop you use. Its all the same software. If you have the driver CD that came with your laptop, that also has it.
