Hi, I am using a ASUS W7J and the graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce 7400 (from what I heard it's the worst one)

So I am thinking about buying a 22-23 inch lcd monitor.
With a not-so-good graphics card, will the quality on the lcd monitor be affected???

Any help is good. Thank you.

Oh, I'm using a 17inch envision lcd monitor now.. and because the W7J screen brightness is so sharp (I would say tooo bright), it makes my lcd monitor look like it's super old. The color is completely different from that of the notebook.. :( so hopefully if i get a new monitor, the color resolution will be better..

No it will not, just do not plan to game at higher resolutions.

Your Go 7400, will support higher resolution monitors for everything, however I wouldn't advise gaming at high resolutions because the GPU can't handle such high resolutions.

Also your GPU is not the worst, the 7300 and X1300 are the slowest dedicated GPUs. Then there are integrated cards.

Overall the display quality using a 22" LCD with a higher resolution will be better and more enjoyable for you. No difference in Quality except the LCD itself and its resolution.
