I picked up a used video card from what I thought was a g50vt. I received it and it has the heatsink and the same layout as the 260m that is in the g51. I don't think this will fit in my g50 because the card is different. I was under the impression that the 9700 and the 9800 had the same layout. Can anyone clear this up for me. Did it end up with a 260m or is this really what the 9800 looks like?

It kinda looks the same but the 260m's in the g51's where smaller cards to fit the case.

Ok Possibly so, I think if the MXM version is the same then just the heat sink layout would not be the same.
I guess compare the Physical Boards then transfer the heat pipe?

The bottom heatsink is different. The mounting screws are different compared to the 9700 I currently have.

It is an asus card I'm just trying to figure out which card specifically it is. I may just have to grab the heatsink off the g51 that's waiting on a screen to check what gpu it is.
