    Does the M70Vm-c1 have a subwoofer?

    I am on the verge of purchasing the M70Vm-c1 laptop but I need to know if it comes with a subwoofer. I have been searching high and low regarding this and I keep finding conflicting information from online retailers regarding this. The hardware users manual for the M70Vm series says on select models but it does not say which select models.

    Thanks for the reply Zekal. I looked at the link and that just made things a little more confusing. While cnet does say it has a subwoofer, they also say it has 1 x Display / video - Composite video/S-video output. The problem is a reviewer stated it does not come with this connector. This leads me not to trust the subwoofer statement. I am hoping that a M70Vm-c1 owner can help out and share his/her satisfaction with this laptop.

    Thanks for the reply Kane1. I looked ath Gentech's review and I could not find it specifically saying that the M70Vm series comes with a subwoofer but the review leads you to assume it does. I am just a little reserved about dropping $2000 for the M70Vm-c1 based on features that are assumed to be there.

    M70 has the sub I can tell you for a fact.

    Nice little bonus since its the "media" series. Ken said it sounds really nice for a laptop speaker setup too, best he has heard.

    If this unit still available when I get money. I will buy it. I like the Tv Tuner and the 4.1 speaker. So if I return to continue the studies in the University I will no need to carry my TV and VCR.

    Also compare with other models this is a good choice for specs/performance/$$$$.

    Michael. I have not purchased the laptop yet. the G71V caught my eyes at the last minute. I will be making my decision this week though. I will let you know if I experience the same problem though.
