    It comes with a "recovery disk." That means you can reinstall Vista using the disk, but it'll also reinstall all the Asus software that came with your system. It's not like an OEM Vista DVD you'd buy off of Newegg.com that will do a basic, clean Vista install on your system.

    Also, don't lose the product key on the bottom of your computer. You'll need your Vista product key to complete the system reinstall.

    It will come with a recovery DVD and a drivers/software cd (dvd?). The Recovery dvd will restore your computer without installing software and drivers, but it will only work on an Asus.
