Can someone, who owns a Dothan 715 asus notebook tell me what is the average temperature this processor is working at? Mine Works at ~50-55 degrees and the fan NEVER stops!

that is around the temperature it should be... try increasing
the temperature settings in your bios in order to get around
your problem... the asus probe is somewhat fuzzy...

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by that!! There are not temperature settings in the bios, I think!

    Hello,

Hi, heatwise I am also a bit disappointed with my Dothan CPU, it runs at temperatures between 45 and 55 degree in my M6Ne when using office applications/browsing the web. The notebook fan only rarely turns off - not quite what I expected from a centrino notebook.
