    Good morning,

I just bought a laptop Asus g50V-A1 but I have to install a session XP but I do not find any driver ...
Are there plans to have driver for XP especially at the VGA and any peripherals?

    PS: sorry for my English

The drivers on the drivers disc should work with XP. Check laptopvideo2go.com for VGA drivers.

EmporiumBoutique, can you confirm that all the G50 Vista drivers work for XP?

Are you sure about that? Make sure that you use the modified INF file to let the driver "know" about the mobile GPU in your computer.

Yep. Maybe you could use the other XP guides for recent models (M50V, F8V), as a guideline? Otherwise, I think the ACPI/ATK drivers and utils may work, together with the Chipset drivers. You'd need to scavenge for the rest (hardware manufacturers' websites, related models with XP support, etc)

Edit: or you could PM Ken (GenTechPC) and ask nicely that he updates his G50V review with Windows XP driver information. :) I'm pretty sure he knows how to get it working.
