So I'm recovering from a corrupted partiotion that I posed about earlier today, and when the recovery disk asked me to put the driver disk in I noticed it was cracked. Yep my driver disk is cracked. I can't continue fixing my computer till I give it a working driver disk.

Does anyone out there know where I can find an ISO or a zip file to make a new driver disk. Its looking for a file on there called recovery.dat so just having a disk of the drivers doesnt work. I tried.

Can anyone maybe post a torrent of their driver disk ISO?

    I miss my G1S!

Its been afew hours now that my computer has been prompting me for the driver disk, so If anyone could upload an ISO or a torrent for an ISO I would love to get back to using my laptop.

You can use it now. Just reset the computer, and let it run through all its stuff, then it will reboot again.

Then get the drivers from asus.com or laptopvideo2go.com for video and be on your way... will get updated drivers that way, and not have to worry about uninstalling the pre-installed software either.

You were right, I'm up and running now. I had thought that might be the case, but was to chicken to try it without someone saying it would work. Thanks for all the help community!
