    I got this bluescreen while playing half life... any suggestions? Its happened a few times.

    Well i guess that means no one knows...but heads up if your getting it be weary as apparently my cpu had harddrive failure and is now in the where i need to decide wheither i want a bigger hd or to warranty it for the same one.

    Clearly. But it's not our fault that we don't know.
    There's almost no information in your first post. What is the file that is reported to have caused the bluescreen? Could you post a photo? Did you install any non-standard drivers before this happened? Does it only happen in HalfLife or other 3-D applications? etc. Noone can give useful suggestions with the only information that "my computer gave me a blue screen".

    This makes no sense.
