Hi, first of all excuse me for my english![]()
I reinstalled the "Asus FlipLock" and "Invensense G-sensor" drivers of my TP300LA-DW099H from asus' website: https://www.asus.com/support/Download/3/664/0/1/B54QCgYKVgEix639/41/
after a format (same os reinstalled but pure), but they are not working, auto-rotate and keboard/pad auto-lock.
I called assus support, cause of the problem: neccesary files were on the original OS, I didn't save it on an externel support..
Does someone have an idea to solve the problem ?
Thanks

Hello and Welcome to our forum!
I think you have to install other files as well.
Such as
ATK
Intel Serial IO controller driver
If the worst comes to the worst. You will have to back up your files and send back your computer for re-installation.
P.S.: What was the original OS and what is the OS you are currently installing? Maybe the drivers are not compatible? Are they both x86 or x64? -
I think I have installed everything.. I resolved the auto-rotate problem, but asus fliplock still don't working..
Both soft you told me are installed, Original os: w8.1 64, same reinstalled
but I have a program files (x86) folder were all asus drivers are installed excepted fliplock, in the program files one.
I don't understandLast edited: Jan 2, 2015 -
Program Files (x86) is for 32-bit programs while the original is used for 64-bit software. This shouldn't be an issue.
When you open your task manager, can you see the service for fliplock? (Flipcontroller.exe based on my search)
You need to install this as well I think: "Keyboard Device Filter Utility"
You're on ATK V1.0.0037? Make sure to have this installed as well: "ASUS Smart Gesture"
I think these two should get the laptop to work, since they should facilitate the control of keyboard/touchpad.
Now I would normally advise against this, but if the worst comes to the worst, you can re-install Windows. ASUS has drivers for TP300 as well, which may or may not be compatible with your laptop. They have a more up to date ATK and a more up to date version of Fliplock (Version 1.0.6 compared to 1.0.5 for TP 500). -
Those 3 softs are already installed and tried differents versions to make fliplock working.
I tried formating three times for a clean drivers installation but nothing.. :/
very strange.... thanks -
nobody?

I will be getting the same laptop in three days (Monday). I will do exactly the same thing you did when I swap the hard drive to a new ssd.
I will be installing Windows 8.1 Pro. I will let you know my findings.
We can also start a new owners thread for the TP300/500 Models. -
Hello guys,
I have the ASUS TP300LD-C4031H and the same problem with "Asus Flip Lock" after formatting the SSD. The orginal ASUS Windows 8 have so much bloatware you can not work with it
Have anybody solved these? The notebook is still very good but this problem is really annoying!
Thank you in advance!

ps: all drivers and programmes are installed!Last edited: Feb 8, 2015 -
Thanks a lot, Nulli!
This works for me, too. At first I unistall my ASUS Flip Lock version (and delete the folder "<user>\AppData\Roaming\ASUS Flip"). Then I install the following version (1.0.3) of ASUS Flip Lock:
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/TP300LA/ASUS_FlipLock_Win81_64_VER103.zip
(offical software from ASUS).
Now my keyboard and touchpad deactivate when I flip my screen - i am happy

same with me,
my fliplock tp300ld does not working, i have installed all drivers, from old version to new
somebody give solution..pleasee... -
I also am having trouble with mine. I bought a refurb model which just had a base image installed on it. I have tried every combination so far of the following drivers and my fliplock still does not work. I wonder what I have missed. For right now I am using a 3rd party software to manually disable the keyboard, so I can use tablet mode.
Asus Fliplock 1.0.3, 1.0.5, 1.0.6 (not listed on this model's driver page on asus's website)
ATK Package 1.00034, 1.00037
G-Sensor Invensense 8.49.014, 8.49.0116 (I also tried another branded option but that for sure did not work as the sensor did not function at all, the screen would not rotate)
Keyboard Filter Driver (have only found 1 option)
Intel Serial IO driver 11.22.60, 11.16.50
Asus Smart Gesture 22.19
That's all the asus software I have installed. I know the sensor works under both G-Sensor Invensense driver versions because the screen will rotate to portrait mode, which tells me the sensor is working. It is just the fliplock part which turns off the keyboard that is not working. -

Inversense 84.90.1.16
ATK 1.0.0037 -

I am able to run the commands from the command line in the C:\Program Files\ASUS\ASUS Fliplock\ folder. I am able to run atk 0 and settouchpadstatus 0 and turn both the keyboard and touchpad off, then with a 1 I am able to turn them back on. So the apps work correctly. I am also able to turn the motion sensor on and off with the sensortoggling.exe app.
However, when I run the STSensorInfoApp.exe I get results of:
Fail: Get ST Accelerometer normalized data failed.
Fail: Create Kionix device file failed.
Can someone who's fliplock is working please run that program from the command line and let me know what results are shown? It is at C:\Program Files\ASUS\ASUS Fliplock\STSensorInfoApp.exe -
you have to install HDDProtection because that is the ST Microelectronics 3 Axis Digital Accelerometer

Seriously though, a hard drive should not be used for this as it gets flipped a lot. I just got this and installed an ssd, ran into this problem and read through the hddprotection documentation which said that there is an accelerometer. The accelerometer is an important part of fliplock.
Glad I could help -
Here's the solution I took: http://sarawakbloggers.net/solving-the-asus-fliplock-problem-after-upgrading-to-windows-10
Worked like a charm. -
I think I have Asus flip lock 1.0.3 and mine didn't work right after upgrading to win10. But neither did my mouse scrolling. I downloaded an updated driver from the Asus site for the track pad and then the flip lock and scrolling on my track pad worked.
Drivers not working after format
